Ashwani Varshney is currently enrolled in the M.S. program in Business Analytics at the Columbia Engineering and Columbia Business School, Columbia University. Before enrolling in the program, he worked as a research assistant at Department of Computer Science, University of Delhi, New Delhi, India. He worked as a Business Analyst and Machine Learning Instructor at iCodeiCreate, an online Ed-com start-up. Currently, he is working on a project with Apple where he has to design python widgets for Excel for enhancing the data analysis process. He earned his undergraduate degree in Computer Science from University of Delhi and has a Masters in Computer Science from Delhi University itself. His technical strengths include the following programming languages: Python and C++. He has experience with the following data science techniques: Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, Text Mining, and Network Science. He has extensive experience working with the following packages: TensorFlow, Numpy, Pandas, SpaCy, NLTK, Transformers, Sklearn, Matplotlib, and Seaborn. He has experience with the following statistical approaches: Regression and A/B Testing. In the past, He has worked with the following databases: Indian Government Rainfall Data, Twitter Data, LinkedIn data, UCI Machine Learning Repository, Datasets from Kaggle, IMDB Movie dataset, and many more.

He is especially good at Data Preprocessing, Model Training, Hyperparameter Tuning, and data visualization but can help with most general data-analytics tasks. He hopes to get a job at Google or Apple after graduating.  See here for his resume.
