Kristina Tian is currently enrolled in the M.S. program in Financial Engineering at IEOR, Columbia University. She earned her undergraduate degree in Computer Science with minor in Operations Research and Management from Cornell University. She was a research assistant in natural language processing. Her technical strengths include the following programming languages:  Python, SQL, Java, LaTex, OCaml, C, VBA, R. She has experience with the following data science techniques: deep learning, natural language processing, and machine learning. She has extensive experience working with the following packages: NumPy, pandas, matplotlib, Seaborn, Keras, PyTorch, scikit-learn, NLTK, statsmodels. She has some experience with the following statistical approaches: regression analysis, time series. In the past, she has worked with the following databases: mySQL, postgreSQL.

She is especially good at machine learning, nlp, deep learning, and data processing, but can help with most general, data-analytic tasks. She hopes to get a job in quantitative research/data science after graduating.  See here for her resume, and her github for examples of some of her work.
