Abstract
The performance of a supply chain depends critically on how its members coordinate their decisions. And it is hard to imagine coordination without some form of information sharing. A significant part of supply chain management research is devoted to understanding the role of information in achieving supply chain coordination. It is the purpose of this chapter to review this literature.
