Three experts from Columbia Business School were recently invited to appear before Washington, D.C., legislative committees to share their advanced knowledge on various issues.

Class of 1967 Associate Professor of Business Jesse Schreger discussed international financial institutions and power competition before the House Committee on Financial Services.

He appeared during a recent hearing titled "International Financial Institutions in an Era of Great Power Competition."

Roy Bernard Kester and T.W. Byrnes Professor of Finance & Economics and Auditing Shivaram Rajgopal addressed the impacts of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) compliance in a hearing held by the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability.

And Bruce Greenwald Professor of Business Vicki Morwitz testified before the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation on the topic of protecting consumers from junk fees.
