At the 2021 Society for Consumer Psychology Conference, Kellen Mrkva, a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Center for Decision Science, received an honorable mention for the Journal of Consumer Psychology C.W. Park Early Contributor Award, based on the paper "Moderating Loss Aversion: Loss Aversion Has Moderators, But Reports of its Death are Greatly Exaggerated" (co-authors were Eric Johnson, Simon Gaechter, and Andreas Herrmann). Here is a link to the paper.

This award is given to the best refereed paper by an "early career contributor." An early career contributor is defined as a scholar whose work is published within two years of receiving the Ph.D. (or a scholar who had not yet received the PhD when the paper was published). An ad hoc committee (including David Wooten, chair, and David Faro and Rebecca Reczek) read each of the 2020 JCP papers that qualified for the award.
