Professor Bruce Greenwald recently hosted a lunch for three current Columbia Business School students who had entered a raffle to win lunch with a faculty member as part of the School's new brand campaign launch.   

On Thursday, March 6, 2014, the Heilbrunn Center hosted the 3rd Annual 'Women & Value Investing Luncheon' open to all students.  This event featured a panel of women in the investment management industry including Natalie Banas (Gallatin Capital LLC, Bandera Partners LLC), Melissa O'Connor '12 (Sanford C. Bernstein), and Kate Peachway '12 (BlueMountain Capital).  Current women in the Value Investing Program were also present to answer any questions about the program and offer advice to first-year students.

The 17th annual Columbia Student Investment Management Association (CSIMA) Conference was held on Friday, February 7, 2014.

Bruce Greenwald discusses competitive advantage on November 7, 2013 for Th+nk CBS, a flash-lecture series in which a professor speaks for 15 minutes about a topic of interest, their current research, or expanding on a class concept. Th+nk CBS was developed last year by I+CBS, the Innovation and Creativity in Business Society, as a way for students to have exposure to professors outside the classroom while keep academics front and center.
