The Columbia Business School Real Estate Association (REA) is pleased to announce the board (Co-Presidents and Vice Presidents) for the 2020-21 academic year. The officers, all in the class of 2021, were elected by the REA membership. Meet the board!

Meredith Marshall is Managing Partner and Co-Founder of BRP Companies, a New York–based real estate firm focused on affordable, mixed-income, and market-rate housing and commercial developments. The vertically integrated organization offers a full complement of development, construction, property management, and financial services.

 

In early March, Samantha Fischgrund '20 and Ellen Qiu '20 attended the Spring NIC Conference in San Diego. The NIC Conference brings together hundreds of investors, operators, and developers across the seniors housing and healthcare sectors.

In his presentation, "Virtual Kitchens: Strategic Partnerships and the Impact on Commercial Real Estate," Jim Collins, CEO of Kitchen United, explained the market dynamics that have led to the rise of virtual kitchens and provided insights into Kitchen United’s approach to serving this growing need in the marketplace.
