   Shop ready-made CBS apparel, accessories, and drinkware online with quick shipping.
2. Pop-up Shop
   Twice a year, this limited-time event allows CBS departments to place bulk orders for unique branded merchandise. Keep an eye on your inbox for announcements!
3. Design & Order Your Own
   Looking to create something special? Departments and student groups can design custom gear through approved vendors using their specific logos. With support from Columbia University Trademark & Licensing, and branding assistance available from MarComms, it's easy to bring your vision to life.

Gear Store

The online Gear Store offers ready-to-ship CBS-branded apparel, accessories, and drinkware, managed by Consolidated Marketing Services (CMS). All gear is available at market rates, similar to the CU bookstore. Here’s what you need to know:

• Audience: Open to both internal and external buyers
• Design: All items feature the general CBS logo.
• Timeline: Items usually ship within a few days, depending on the destination.
• Bulk Orders: Discounts for bulk purchases are not available.
• Availability: Stock may vary and is subject to availability.
• Purchasing: All purchases are processed by CMS (not CBS or Columbia University) via credit/debit card, PayPal, or other supported express checkout platforms.
• Payment Notes: Departmental p-cards can be used for valid business reasons. Purchases cannot be made via invoice or internal transfers to a chartstring.

Pop-up Shop

MarComms hosts a pop-up shop in the Fall and Spring in collaboration with Grossman Marketing Group. Here’s how it works:

• Audience: Available only to CBS departments.
• Design: All gear features the general CBS logo.
• Process: Departments place requests via an order form over a 1-2 week period. The order form will be found in the announcement email from MarComms.
• Timeline: Orders are fulfilled within a few weeks after purchases are finalized.
• Bulk Orders: Prices may drop based on total volume once all requests are submitted. 
• Payment: Departments receive final invoices for payment from Grossman via invoice or p-card.

Design & Order Your Own Items

Departments and student groups can create their own branded merchandise if they want specific designs or need items from other vendors. Here's how:

• Vendors: Choose any vendor from the approved list to design custom merchandise. Sourcing other vendors is discouraged—reach out to FPO with any vendor-related questions.
• Design Process: Use the vendor's design services to submit designs with your approved CBS logo. All designs must be verified by Columbia University Trademark & Licensing before finalization, which the approved vendors will handle on behalf of the department.
• MarComms Support: If design assistance is needed, CBS Marketing & Communications can provide branding and design support upon request.
