Francis de la Cruz has spent his entire career on Wall Street. He started his career consulting practice, The Write Resume, shortly after school, in response to seeing high demand for resume, mock interview, and networking help from friends, friends of friends, and referrals on the outside looking in. This then grew into a second practice, The Private Placement Group, which he launched to focus on ex-bankers seeking to move into the buy-side. The way he engages with his clients is unique, in that he structures fees based on their successes together.

Francis is originally from San Francisco. He started his career in Investment Banking at UBS in New York, and has worked in a finance/CFO track since for Morgan Stanley, J.P. Morgan, and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. Francis is now based in Hong Kong, and is currently a finance executive at BlackRock. His wife (also a CBS grad) and Francis have two children, a boy and a girl, and travel often. He finds tremendous joy in getting to know all of the people he works with and advises, many of whom have become close friends and cherished contacts.
