Brock Elmore, Chief Architect, Nascent, 3rd Generation Elmore Family Member

Brock Elmore is the youngest sibling in the Elmore family. He played football at the University of Pennsylvania where he studied at Wharton Undergrad. In 2017, he dropped out with 2 semesters left to pursue the creation of a small fund that traded Bitcoin using network science and machine learning. He is a self-taught programmer. He operated that fund for two years before starting a new company with his brother Trent in the decentralized finance ("DeFi") space. He joined the venture capital firm Nascent in early 2021 as their Chief Architect, where he sources and does technical diligence on pre-seed, seed, and A round deals. He focuses on DeFi, infrastructure, and security in the crypto space. After investment in a company, he works closely with founders and engineering teams on everything from technical architecture, go to market strategy, marketing, and financial engineering.
