Pauline is an MBA candidate at Columbia Business School, where she is a Meyer Feldberg Fellow and a Forte Fellow. At 21, she stepped up to lead her family’s construction business, Seojoong International Korea Inc., relocating from Northern Virginia to South Korea. Under her leadership, the company achieved its highest-ever revenue and profit by expanding its product offerings, developing new facilities, and driving sustainability initiatives through the adoption of eco-friendly materials and carbon-reduction strategies.

Now at Columbia Business School, Pauline is exploring the intersection of family enterprise, real estate, and technology. She is deeply engaged in understanding how innovation and technological advancements are reshaping traditional industries, particularly in construction and real estate. While building on her family business experience, she is particularly interested in leveraging technology and sustainability to drive innovation in the built environment and exploring new opportunities that bridge legacy and the future.
