Rocio Siman

Born and raised in El Salvador, Rocio embodies the legacy of the SIMAN family. From a young
age, she immersed herself in the operations of the family's flagship department store, where
she learned the values of diligence and entrepreneurial spirit that define her family.

Rocio's journey led her to pursue a BBA from Loyola University in Chicago, where she honed
her skills and expanded her horizons. Building on this foundation, she recently completed her
MBA at Columbia Business School, further enriching her understanding of global commerce
and strategic management.

The story of the SIMAN family is one of resilience and determination, rooted in the experiences
of Rocio's great-grandfather, JOSE J. SIMAN, who embarked on a journey of emigration from
Bethlehem in the early 1900s. From these humble beginnings arose a legacy of successful
business ventures, characterized by unwavering ethics and a commitment to hard work.

Rocio is dedicated to preserving and enhancing the family's values and enterprises for future
generations. With operations spanning 27 countries across diverse industries including
retailing, electronics, finance, real estate, and textiles, and more than 28,700 employees, the
SIMAN family remains at the forefront of innovation and excellence.

Having worked at the company's New York o[ice and headquarters in El Salvador, Rocio brings
a wealth of experience and insight to her current role as Marketplace Manager at Lights.com,
an e-commerce platform specializing in lighting and home décor. In this dynamic role, she
leverages her expertise to drive growth and foster connections in the digital marketplace.
