Sproule Love ’09

VP of Sustainability & ESG
Allegro Senior Living, 5th Generation Family Member
Sproule Love, Class of 2009, VP of Sustainability & ESG, Allegro Senior Living and 5th Generation Family Member

Sproule is VP of Sustainability & ESG at Allegro Senior Living and is the 5th generation of his family to be involved in the business. Allegro is part of a St. Louis-based family holding company with a 150-year history in real estate finance, development and management. It also owns a coalbed and agricultural methane capture business. After more than a decade working in environmental advocacy, outdoor recreation and real estate finance, he joined Allegro’s property development group. In response to increased equity investor interest in ESG, Sproule moved into his current position where he improves NOI and resiliency at Allegro’s senior housing communities. He holds an AB in Economics from Harvard College and an MBA from Columbia Business School. Outside of work, Sproule is a National Masters Champion in cross-country skiing, a three-time U.S. National Tower Running Champion and has held records up the Willis Tower in Chicago, the Space Needle in Seattle and the Metropolitan Building in St. Louis. He lives in Harlem with his wife and two children, where they advocate for protected bike lanes, subscribe to community solar and sequester carbon every summer in a local community garden.
