This annual gathering of Columbia Business School real estate alumni took place on May 8 at the Columbia Club of New York.  The 2014 Annual Real Estate Alumni Reception honored Distinguished Real Estate Partner Hugh R. Frater ’85 of Berkadia.Mr. Frater is Chief Executive Officer of Berkadia, a highly rated master and primary servicer and a top-tier commercial real estate loan originator and investment sales advisor.  Berkadia has over 1400 employees in over 60 offices servicing over $230 billion in commercial mortgage loans and financing or selling over $14 billion in property annually.Prior to joining Berkadia in August 2010, Mr. Frater was Chief Operating Officer, managing director and senior advisor at Good Energies Inc., a multibillion euro, global private investor in renewable energy.Mr. Frater is currently a member of the Board of the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBa), Vice Chair of the MBa GSE Multifamily Task Force, is a member of the MBa Audit Committee and of the COMBOG Board of Directors and COMBOG Advisory Committee. He has an MBA from Columbia Business School and a bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College.Thanks to all who attended.
