On February 17, 2015 investment professionals and members of the alumni community came to campus to judge three teams that had been selected from submissions by the attendees of the 4th Annual Deal Camp in Montauk. The competition is an opportunity for Deal Camp participants to explore the skills and ideas they have learned at Deal Camp. This year's competition challenged the students to source and propose an investment of an existing U.S. company as an LBO target to our judging panel. Judges making up the "Investment committee" included alumni and professionals from a variety of backgrounds: Margaret Isa Butler `01, Greenberg Traurig; Joe Di Tomaso `03, AllTheRooms.com; Scott Estill `09, Heidrick & Struggles Michael Hillmeyer `97, Columbia Business School; Donna M. Hitscherich `90, Columbia Business School; David Palamar `92,  J.P. Morgan; Kiran Rao `06, TPG; Benjamin Wu, Macquarie Group.   Congratulations to the 2015 Champions which proposed the winning investment idea:  Catalin Cibu `16, Ari David `16, Robert Dellinger `16, Michael Echemendia `16 and Douglas Hirsch `16, and to all the talented finalists who participated in the final presentations.   For more photos, visit the Competition slideshow on Flickr.
