The program is designed to help career services professionals learn the best ways of advising students about employment in various countries and how to market their international skills and backgrounds to recruiters. Lehman Brothers hosted the opening day of the conference at its offices in midtown Manhattan. Speakers included Dean Glenn Hubbard, who discussed the value of an MBA, and Charles Calomiris, the Henry Kaufman Professor of Financial Institutions and academic director of the Chazen Institute and CIBER, who spoke about the landscape of the global labor market. Ellen Miller and Lawrence Band, managing directors at Lehman Brothers, discussed trends and opportunities for MBA graduates in the international employment market. The Jerome A.
