Columbia Executive Education has partnered with Shanghai’s renowned Fudan University to offer executives a new class on global financial markets, further connecting Columbia Business School with China’s powerful emerging economy. Increasing the School’s presence in the world’s fastest growing economy, the program offers high-potential Chinese executives the opportunity to study financial markets in New York City with Columbia Business School’s finance faculty.

The course was introduced in Shanghai last month with a special session by Professor David Beim on emerging financial markets. The program itself, which will run in the summer of 2006, expects to enroll approximately 50 executives from China's banking, investment, insurance, regulatory and government sectors.
