Columbia Business School Hosts MBA Media and Entertainment Conference

Students from top MBA programs across the country gathered recently at the School for the 2005 MBA Media & Entertainment Conference.

Speakers included Michael J. Wolf, director and managing partner of McKinsey & Company's Global Media and Entertainment Practice; Don Logan, chairman of Time Warner's Media and Communications Group; and Leo Hindery, chairman of the YES Network. Established through the joint efforts of MBA students at Columbia Business School, Duke, Stern, Sloan and Wharton, the conference illuminates trends in the media and entertainment industry and offers participants the opportunity to connect with experts in the field. The event has become the country's leading conference for MBAs interested in the area, and it attracts hundreds of students and alumni from universities around the globe. Also attending were professionals from companies including the Economist, ESPN, Goldman Sachs, Major League Baseball, McKinsey & Company, MTV, NFL, Sony, Viacom and the Wall Street Journal.
