Columbia Students bring home two wins from 15th Annual Wharton LBO Competition

Congratulations to the Columbia students who participated in the 15th Annual Wharton Private Equity competition, Friday February 20, 2015. Two first year MBA teams competed and both teams finished in the top 3 (out of 25 teams from 19 schools from around the world.). This year the teams presented a case on the possible leveraged buyout of American Eagle Outfitters.

Congratulations to the Columbia students who participated in the 15th Annual Wharton Private Equity competition, Friday February 20, 2015. Two first year MBA teams competed and both teams finished in the top 3 (out of 25 teams from 19 schools from around the world.). This year the teams presented a case on the possible leveraged buyout of American Eagle Outfitters. The Wharton MBA Buyout Case Competition is one of the premier MBA-level LBO case competitions in the world. It brings together teams from the leading business schools around the country and world to evaluate and make recommendations for a proposed PE buyout transaction. Presentations are judged by panels of PE professionals. Check out the Wharton Club web site for more information on the competition.
