On November 20th 2008, the Paul Milstein Center for Real Estate hosted the annual Real Estate Alumni event at 640 Fifth Avenue, a Vornado Realty Trust property in midtown. This year, the Milstein Center honored Distinguished Real Estate Alumnus Daniele D. Bodini '72, Chairman of American Continental Properties Group (ACP). Born in Italy, Mr. Bodini received an MP in engineering from the University of Rome in 1968 and an MA in architecture in 1970.  In 1972, he received an MBA from Columbia Business School. American Continental Properties Group (ACP), a diversified real estate group in North America and Europe, is headquartered in New York.  ACP is involved in the investment and development of office buildings, apartment buildings, hotels, and shopping centers in the U.S. and Europe.  Mr. Bodini plays an active role in Columbia Business School as a member of its Board of Overseers as well as the MBA Real Estate Program Advisory Board, which he helped establish in 1994. Over 200 former Columbia Business School students attended the cocktail event, along with several real estate faculty members and business school staff from the external relations office and the Paul Milstein Center for Real Estate. Professor Lynne B. Sagalyn, Director of the Paul Milstein Center, offered opening remarks and presented the award to Mr. Bodini.
