The 2001 recipients are Surfdom, a water park franchise; Harlem Renaissance Hotel and Residence, an upscale, uptown hotel; Zoë San Francisco, a lingerie boutique; Innospan, a technology company providing seamless roaming between wireless networks; and Enterprise Air, a designer and distributor of wireless infrastructure platforms.
The Eugene M. Lang Entrepreneurial Initiative Fund was established in 1996 with a generous grant from Eugene Lang, MS ’40. To date, the fund has committed $925,000 in seed money to 10 businesses ranging from Schneider Vineyards, located on the North Fork of Long Island, to LatinArte, an online gallery featuring contemporary Latin American art.
