The Columbia Business School Real Estate Association, Paul Milstein Center for Real Estate and Career Management Center co-hosted the First Annual Real Estate Career Forum on Friday, February 12, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  Real estate companies introduced their organization, shared ideas, and networked with Columbia Business School students.  While participants did not necessarily have specific or immediate full-time or summer hiring needs, this event offered real estate organizations a unique opportunity to forge deeper ties with the Columbia Business School community and potentially recruit future business leaders. To kick-off the Career Forum, Chris Mayer, Senior Vice Dean and Paul Milstein Professor of Real Estate, provided a keynote address in which he discussed Prospects for a Recovery in the Commercial Real Estate Market.  Participants then moved on to the Career Forum and were able to meet students in an interactive setting, presenting their organization in an exhibit-style environment. To request additional information about the 2011 Real Estate Career Forum, please contact one of the REA board member students below.
