CJEB will co-sponsor the Graduate Student Conference on East Asia, which will take place at Columbia University, February 9 - 10, 2007. This is a forum for graduate students from various institutions and diverse disciplines to share ideas and to discuss work in progress with their peers. The conference offers a glimpse of the future of research in East Asian Studies.

The organizers welcome applications from graduate students engaged in research on topics such as, but not exclusive to, East Asian history, economics, business, political science, literature, art history, and religion.
