The Marketing Association of Columbia’s second annual conference on November 3 drew more than 300 attendees. After opening remarks by Shawn Gold, CMO at MySpace.com, attendees heard from keynote speakers Shelly Lazarus ‘70, Chairman and CEO at Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide, and Richard Lenny, President and CEO at The Hershey Company.
The conference, “From Tuning In to Plugging In: The Future of Integrated Marketing,” explored new channels of communication, product innovation, and the increasing importance of consumer generated content. In addition to the keynote speakers, panels included representative from American Express, Booz Allen Hamilton, Digitas, ESPN, Financial Times, Kraft Foods, L’Oreal and MTV.
