Q: Why did you choose Columbia Business School to pursue your MBA? A: I chose Columbia Business School to pursue my post-MBA goals because Columbia had the “complete package”: a great Media program, amazing alumni network, and New York City.
Q: If you could develop a class for the Media Program, what would you like to see? A: Media & Entertainment project management—how to integrate and develop a Media & Entertainment project from its inception.
Q: How have you used the alumni network? A: I have met a couple of great Columbia Business School alumni who served as career coaches for my summer internship search, teaching me some “dos and don'ts” of the industry. I think this “coaching” mentality is something that really helps to strengthen the ties between alumni and current students.
Q: What advice would you offer incoming students interested in media? A: Columbia and NYC have a lot to offer to those interested in Media. Whatever you put into your experience is what you’ll get out of it. Try to get involved with as many media-related events as possible, and whatever your aspirations are, I am sure they will be met.
Q:Anything else you'd like to add? A: CBS has been the best experience of my entire life. I am clearly a different man from 1 year ago. I am still a 1st year, so I still have more to add to my MBA experience. It is clear to me that choosing Columbia Business School for my long time dream of pursuing and MBA in the US was the right choice, and part of this is due to the MMA and the alumni network.
