Continuing an annual tradition, Columbia Business School board members — including Sallie Krawcheck ’92, Henry Kravis ’69 and Mario Gabelli ’67 — carved time out of their busy schedules to meet with small groups of MBA students to discuss industry trends and opportunities. The intimate meetings, in which 5 to 8 students dine with leaders in the financial services, media and retailing industries, is just one means by which students connect with the School’s global alumni network. The informal gatherings, which often last a few hours, provide the opportunity for alumni to share insights into their own success while discussing students’ career goals.
