TheSquareFoot, co-founded by Jonathan Wasserstrum '12 and hometown friends Aron Susman and Justin Lee, was awarded one of 10 student scholarships to present at DEMO Spring 2012. One of the more competitive conferences of its kind, DEMO gives tech startups from all over the world a chance to showcase their products to the media, venture capitalists, established entrepreneurs, and other technology leaders. TheSquareFoot is using the opportunity to launch the alpha version of its platform in a presentation on April 18 in Santa Clara, California. Founded in 2011, TheSquareFoot makes commercial real estate leasing easier with its online marketplace that connects prospective tenants with the full complement of providers they need for finding and setting up a new office, restaurant, warehouse, or retail store.
