Andrew McAllister ’99
Andrew McAllister, Executive Director, co-founded MAC Realty Advisors (“MAC”) with Bruce Levin in 2010. MAC is a Washington, DC-based real estate advisory firm focused exclusively on the needs of multifamily and mixed-use developers, building owners, and landowners in the greater Washington, DC Metropolitan region. MAC specializes in debt and equity placement, investment sales, land sales, and advisory services. Annually, MAC Realty Advisors typically places between $500 million and $800 million of entrepreneurial transactions – land sales and development financings. MAC, and specifically Messrs. McAllister and Levin, have been amongst the leading brokers and/or investors in the emerging and gentrifying submarkets found in Washington, D.C. Notable clients include Akridge, the JBG Companies, Clark Enterprises, Lowe Enterprises, Trammell Crow Commercial, DC United, TCR, Jonathan Rose Companies, Lionstone Investments, MRP, Foulger-Pratt, Kettler, and dozens of boutique entrepreneurial platforms. Prior to MAC, Mr. McAllister had a noted, decade long career, at Cushman & Wakefield (“C&W”) where he was a senior leader within the Capital Markets Group. At C&W he focused on placing debt and equity for residential developments, acquisitions, and permanent financings. His frequent and noted success at advocating large “imputed land equity capital accounts” on behalf of his development clients helped to spawn his team's foray into land sales where he brokered many of the region's top sales. At Cushman & Wakefield, Mr. McAllister was recognized with numerous service honors. His performance placed him in the top ten producers regionally and the top 15 percent nationally. His team also won the Client Service Award in 2004 and 2006. The Greater Washington Commercial Association of Realtors ranked Mr. McAllister as a Top 5 Finance Producer for multiple years. Mr. McAllister worked in Cushman & Wakefield’s Loan Sale Group (2006 to 2008) where he was part of an advisory team responsible for the sale of more than $3 billion in mortgage loans. Locally, his past professional experience includes working as a commercial real estate loan officer at ITT Real Estate and General American Life and a mortgage broker at Walker & Dunlop. In those capacities he closed more than $500 million in commercial and residential transactions. Mr. McAllister started his Washington, DC-based real estate career in 1986 as an analyst with Jones Lang Wootton (now JLL). Mr. McAllister received his EMBA (1998) with honors from Columbia Business School and his undergraduate business degree (1985) in finance from Georgetown University. He has been a speaker at numerous industry events including Crittenden, the Mortgage Bankers Association, the Urban Land Institute, the District of Columbia Building Industry Association, and RealShare. Mr. McAllister is a member of the Real Estate Group and the National Multi Housing Council. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker in New York, Washington, D.C., Virginia, Maryland, and Massachusetts.
Herbert Meyers ’96
Herbert Myers is Head of Acquisitions and Managing Director at Investcorp. Herb oversees the acquisitions team in the real estate investment group at Investcorp and has senior level oversight for all aspects of the group’s new real estate investment transactions. During its recently concluded fiscal year (ended June 30th), Investcorp closed 17 new real estate investment transactions with a gross value of $1.7 billion. Herb joined Investcorp in April 2000. Prior to Investcorp, Herb spent four years as a Vice President in the real estate investment group at JP Morgan in New York. Previously, he was an Associate in real estate investment sales at Eastdil Realty Company and a Senior Associate in real estate leasing at Peter R Friedman Ltd. He holds a BA in Organizational Management from the University of Michigan and an MBA in Real Estate and Finance from Columbia University. Investcorp is a leading provider and manager of alternative investment products and is publicly traded on the Bahrain Bourse (INVCORP). The Investcorp Group has offices in New York, Bahrain, London, Saudi Arabia, Doha and Abu Dhabi. Investcorp has three business areas: corporate investment in the U.S., Europe and the Gulf, real estate investment in the U.S and global hedge funds. As at December 31, 2015, the Investcorp Group had $10.7 billion in total assets under management (‘AUM’)

Grey Baker ’16
Grey Baker works at 42nd Street Development Corporation. He earned his MBA in 2016 from Columbia Business School, after graduating from Stanford University with a BA in History, and has spent his career in politics and government in the former White House and presidential administration. Grey is interested in development and public/private partnerships.
Arthur Romeo ’12
Mr. Romeo is an investment professional at TPG Special Situations Partners (TSSP), TPG’s dedicated credit and special situations platform with over $18 billion of assets under management. Prior to joining TSSP, Mr. Romeo was an investment professional at H/2 Capital Partners, an institutional investment manager dedicated to real estate credit. Prior to joining H/2, Mr. Romeo was an investment professional at Mercury Capital Management LLC, an institutional investment manager focused on public and private special situation real estate investments. Mr. Romeo earned his MBA from Columbia Business School and his BS from Fairfield University.
