Kelley Blanco ’02, director of development and individual giving, has been named assistant dean for Executive MBA Programs (EMBA). She will assume her new position on March 12.

“Kelley has an accomplished history with Columbia Business School,” says Dean Glenn Hubbard. “Her proven skills, knowledge, energy and keen familiarity with the School will be an invaluable contribution to our first-rate EMBA experience.”

A graduate of Columbia’s Executive MBA Program, Blanco joined the School’s administration in January of 1998 and pursued her MBA while working full-time as a member of the external relations team. As director of development and individual giving, she was directly responsible for the School’s Annual Fund and special campaigns. She also developed alumni support for the entrepreneurship and private equity programs.Reporting to Ethan Hanabury ’85, associate dean for Executive MBA Programs, Blanco will oversee the operation of all EMBA programs and partnerships. Her responsibilities will include academic planning, faculty staffing and support and developing academic policies relating to EMBA students.
