Gentry Ashmore Hoit ’90 is joining Park Madison Partners as partner to advise clients on real estate acquisitions and capital-raising efforts. Park Madison Partners, a New York-based real estate placement and advisory firm, was cofounded by Nancy Lashine ’81.

“With a more experienced and savvy US institutional investor community looking to access deals opportunistically on a direct basis, we have seen great demand for seasoned professionals who are familiar with the private equity real estate space,” said Lashine. “We are pleased to have professionals like Gentry, who understand the need for creativity in developing strategies that meet clients’ investment requirements.”

Prior to this appointment, Hoit was a partner in both Atlantic Assets Group, a Brooklyn-based private investment firm focused on mixed-use and residential investment and redevelopment, and Atlantic Assets Summit, a real estate consultancy. Previously she worked at Rubenstein Partners and Shorenstein Properties. Another Columbia Business School alumna, Yasmine Uzmez ’91, joined Park Madison Partners in 2011 as a principal.
