For the second year in a row, a DRO faculty member is awarded the esteemed Frederick W. Lanchester Prize. 

Paul Glasserman was presented with the award by John Birge at the 2006 INFORMS conference in Pittsburgh for his book "Monte Carlo Methods in Financial Engineering" (Springer, New York, 2004). 

The division congratulates Paul on this award and looks forward to continued successes in the field of operations research and management sciences.
