Professor Frank Lichtenberg Receives 2003 Milken Institute Award for Distinguished Economic Research

Frank Lichtenberg, the Courtney C. Brown Professor of Business, has won the 2003 Milken Institute Award for Distinguished Economic Research. Honoring the best research in the field of economics, the Milken Institute Award was presented to Professor Lichtenberg for his study of pharmaceutical research and its contribution to human longevity.

Frank Lichtenberg, the Courtney C. Brown Professor of Business, has won the 2003 Milken Institute Award for Distinguished Economic Research. Honoring the best research in the field of economics, the Milken Institute Award was presented to Professor Lichtenberg for his study of pharmaceutical research and its contribution to human longevity. 

Lichtenberg, who joined the School in 1983, has taught in the core curriculum and has designed elective courses including the Economics of Health and Health care, which he is currently teaching. A research associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research, he has received numerous research fellowships and grants, served as a consultant to a variety of private and public organizations and testified before Congress.
