Doron Nissim, associate professor of accounting, has won Baruch College’s Stan Ross Department of Accountancy Prize for Outstanding Academic Contribution to Practice. The award, bestowed by Baruch College, the American Accounting Association and the Financial Executives Research Foundation, recognizes Nissim’s paper, “Taxable Income, Future Earnings and Equity Values,” as having the “greatest import for users and preparers of financial reports” of all papers published in the Accounting Review in 2004. The award will be presented at the Third Annual Academe Meets Practice Conference in November.
