20th Annual Columbia Business School Private Equity and Venture Capital Conference

Celebrating their 20th Annual PE+VC Conference on February 28, 2014, the Columbia Business School PE+VC Club will hold this year’s event at The Sheraton New York for a day of candid discussion on the state of the industry. The 2014 Conference theme "Driving Entrepreneurial Thinking in the World of Investing" will engage discussions on the entrepreneurial mindsets employed in both the PE (private equity) and VC (venture capital) industries. The Conference Teams’ goals of this conference are to educate, promote discussion, and provide a forum for interaction between academics, professionals, and students who are active in the private equity and venture capital communities and say that "by including representatives from a variety of backgrounds, our goal is to bring in a breadth of perspectives from across the industry." 

Featured Keynotes include Peter Barris, Managing General Partner at NEA, Leon Black, Chairman and CEO, Apollo Global Management, David S. Blitzer, Senior Managing Director & Head of Tactical Opportunities, Blackstone Group and Mark F. Dzialga '90, Managing Director and Chairman of Investment Committee, General Atlantic with opening remarks by Alan Patricof '57, Founder of APAX Partners and Greycroft Partners.
