Hundreds of real estate alumni from the classes of 1960 to 2012 graduates gathered on May 10, 2012, for the Annual Alumni Real Estate Reception. Held at the Columbia Club of New York, the event honored 2012 Distinguished Real Estate Partner Andrew L. Farkas, Managing Member, Chairman, and CEO, Island Capital Group.

Mr. Farkas has been a significant foundation of support to the MBA Real Estate Program and the Paul Milstein Center for Real Estate from our earliest efforts to build an outstanding real estate presence at the Business School. He is a partner to the program as a Real Estate Forum member and a model of creative and successful business talent for our students and business alumni. In 2000, he initiated an endowed chair in honor of Edward S. Gordon, the founder of one of New York's largest real estate companies. Lynne Sagalyn, Earle W. Kazis and Benjamin Schore Professor of Real Estate and Director of the Paul Milstein Center for Real Estate, presented the award to him.

See the slideshow below for photos of the event, and please contact pmc@gsb.columbia.edu if you have any suggestions for the captions!
