St. Andrew's society of Washington D.C. awards several scholarships totaling more than $20,000 to Scots enrolled in US graduate programs. The deadline for applications is April 30 of each year. The St. Andrew's Society Founders' Prize, made possible by generous donations in the name of James & Mary Dawson and Donald Malcolm MacArthur, awards an annual scholarship amount of $7,500 to an outstanding Scottish or Scottish-American scholar.
