Rochelle Lazarus '70 and John Whitehead Honored at Columbia Business School 's 27th Annual Dinner

Industry leaders from around the world joined Columbia Business School to celebrate its 27th Annual Dinner at the Waldorf-Astoria in New York City on May 5. The gala event, which was chaired by Arthur J. Samberg '67, chairman and CEO of Pequot Capital, attracted 1,000 prominent business figures, alumni and faculty members to salute achievement in business and government.

Industry leaders from around the world joined Columbia Business School to celebrate its 27th Annual Dinner at the Waldorf-Astoria in New York City on May 5. The gala event, which was chaired by Arthur J. Samberg '67, chairman and CEO of Pequot Capital, attracted 1,000 prominent business figures, alumni and faculty members to salute achievement in business and government. 

The highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Distinguished Leadership Awards. This year, Rochelle Lazarus '70, chairman and CEO of Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide, was presented with the Distinguished Leadership Award in Business; John C. Whitehead, chairman of the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation, was awarded the Distinguished Leadership Award in Government.
