The David and Lyn Silfen Leadership Series is a set of distinguished speaking engagements where we invite prominent industry leaders to speak to us on the subject of leadership. As a student-run venture, in conjunction with the Dean's Office and the Office of Development and Alumni Relations, the Series aims to enhance the shared access to intellectual capital between students and the leaders who drive organizations, societies, and markets forward.

Kristin, CEO of Zoetis, shared valuable insights on leadership, innovation, and work-life balance. She emphasized the importance of leveraging technology, including AI, in advancing animal healthcare, which offers lessons for human healthcare as well. Drawing from her personal experiences, she discussed how leadership requires endurance and motivation, much like her passion for running. Kristin also highlighted the significance of balancing work and personal life, advising attendees to own their calendar and prioritize their well-being. Her engaging, down-to-earth approach and personal stories left a lasting impact on the students.
