Ali has 10 years of experience in the field of workforce development and employer relations. For 6 years he worked for an International Organization in his home country where he managed the employment services programs. By creating meaningful relationships with employers and managing 4 staff members he successfully placed more than 500 clients into decent jobs.

For the past 6 years living in New York, he has worked for several agencies involved in the field of workforce development including a private college, a large recruitment firm as well as for one of the largest workforce development agencies in New York. In these jobs he has helped these companies to exponentially increase the number of partnerships with employers, developed new strategic plans based on each organizations’ vision, as well as has planned and organized large recruitment events which would then translate into hundreds of New Yorkers placed in decent jobs.

Ali’s expertise is focused on Program Development, Workforce Program Management, Talent Acquisition, Career Coaching, Partnership Management and Employer Engagement. He is hoping to use his experience and passion for workforce development and employer engagement to help CBS students to secure meaningful and rewarding careers.

He holds two Bachelor’s degrees, one in Social Work and Psychology from the University of Tirana, Albania and another in Labor and HR Management from the Pennsylvania State University. He enjoys reading, hiking and traveling.
