Clare Norton

Clare Norton is the Senior Associate Dean of Enrollment Management at Columbia Business School. In this role, she provides leadership, strategic direction, management, and oversight for all activities related to recruitment, admissions, and financial aid. With a commitment to rigor and a passion for promoting equity and addressing disparities of access, Clare is uniquely positioned to lead our enrollment efforts. 

With over 17 years of enrollment leadership experience, Clare has held several key roles in higher education, including Senior Associate Dean for Educational Business Strategy and Enrollment Management at Columbia’s Mailman School of Public Health, and University Executive Director for Enrollment Strategy and Management at the City University of New York. Prior to her career in higher education, Clare was a finance professional at Citigroup Corporate Investment Bank. 

She earned her Masters of Science in Education with a concentration in Higher Education Administration from Baruch College, and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business.
