Laurie Boockvar

Laurie Boockvar is an Associate Director in the Career Management Center. Laurie specializes in the core job search skills such as self-assessment, networking, resume and cover letter development, interview preparation and managing the process. She is also a liaison to the Columbia Student Investment Management Association, Equity Research Club, Restructuring and Distressed Investing Group, and General Management Association. Prior to joining the Business School in October 1997, Laurie spent four years in a career development capacity in both academia and industry and served as an adjunct instructor at NYU's Center for Career, Education and Life Planning and in the Adult Degree Studies Division. Laurie holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.A. in Counseling from NYU. Laurie is from New York.
