Olamide David
Olamide David is a public policy researcher and currently serves as a Project Coordinator at the Initiative for Policy Dialogue (IPD). She was an Adviser at the United Nations, New York, where she led and supported the negotiation of UN policy resolutions for the Mission of Nigeria on various platforms, including the General Assembly, G77 and China, African Union, and ECOWAS. She was an All Saints Scholar at the University of Leeds, U.K where she earned a Master’s degree in International Educational Management. Her research interests focus on the intersections between the global south development agenda and the policies that drive them. She is exploring stakeholder's cognitive implementation of policies, particularly, how and why education decentralization policies work as intended or fail to accomplish desired outcomes in sub-Saharan African countries.
