Shanta Inshiqaq has over twenty years’ experience in the book publishing industry with specific expertise in international sales, marketing, and operations. She recently worked at Baker & Taylor Global Publisher Services as Director of International Sales & Global Operations. As a stakeholder in this business, she was responsible for the growth and development of client publishers and the international sales team.

During her tenure in publishing, she has gained global experience selling and managing teams in various regions such as Latin America, Asia, India, and South Africa at some of the leading publishing companies in the World including Penguin, Bloomsbury, Rizzoli, and Baker & Taylor. This international executive leadership and senior management experience has led her to Columbias Business School where she will provide a new prospective from many diverse corporate environments. She also taught Publishing in the Global Marketplace: Trends & Opportunities at New York University in the Masters of Publishing Program (2016).
