A new and improved courseware system is now available to students enrolled in a number of spring 2007 courses. The School's Information Technology Group has created a site where students can find the list of courses that are participating in the pilot along with tips on how to use the new system.

"The adoption of a new — and, most important, improved — courseware system is a huge part of our mission to continually enhance the academic and overall student experience at Columbia Business School," says Len Peters, associate dean and chief information officer. "I hope you are as excited to try it as we are to present it to you."

Last February, a team of faculty members, students and administrators evaluated a number of courseware vendors and selected Angel Learning to replace Prometheus, which supported the School's former course management system. Angel offers a complete suite of flexible and easy-to-use online teaching and learning tools.Students enrolled in one of the pilot courses can access the new system through myGSB. For assistance, students can call 854-3730 or email stusupgsb.columbia.edu.
