The Deming Cup for Operational Excellence
With an unfortunate update, we are canceling the upcoming Deming Cup dinner and ceremony on Thursday, April 3rd, 2025, as well as the accompanying fireside chat.
We are proud to announce that Beth Ford, President and CEO of Land O'Lakes, Inc., and Julie Sweet, Chair and CEO of Accenture, are the 2024 recipients of the Deming Cup. Awarded annually since 2010, the Deming Cup for Operational Excellence honors leaders for outstanding merit in operations and for fostering a culture of continuous improvement within their organizations.

Through this award, the Center not only recognizes exemplary leaders for creating successful organizations by following W. Edwards Deming’s philosophy and principles, but also facilitates opportunities for their ongoing engagement with Columbia Business School’s academic community.
