The Student Leadership and Ethics Board announced the inauguration of the Individual, Business, and Society (IBS) Teaching Prize. This annual award will honor a Columbia Business School faculty member for outstanding teaching of leadership, ethics, and governance within the core and flex core curriculum. The inaugural prize will be presented in September 2011.The prize will commend a faculty member who has demonstrated an innovative and thoughtful approach to integrating values-based leadership, ethics, integrity, corporate governance, corporate responsibility, or sustainability into the core or flex core courses. Candidates serve as role models for both students and fellow faculty members.The award selection committee is comprised of student members of the Student Leadership and Ethics Board who have not made any nominations, faculty members affiliated with the Bernstein Center who have not been nominated, and a representative of the Dean’s office.Nominations for this student-led award are now being accepted.
