The School recently announced the launch of Columbia Business School Mobile, a mobile application that gives members of the School community convenient access to important and timely School-related information and services. The app, the first of its kind among top-tier business schools, allows current and potential students to view information about School events and club activities, and browse course listings. In addition, current students can access course assignments and materials through the School’s Angel network. Users can also search Columbia University and Columbia Business School directories, view a campus map, readSchool News stories, and receive campus safety alerts. In addition, the app allows users to customize their experience by saving information for quick reference. Columbia Business School Mobile is available free in the iTunes Store for iOS devices; the School’s Information Technology Group is exploring developing the app for other platforms in the future.
