Vince Ponzo ’03 has been named Director of the Eugene Lang Entrepreneurship Center.“Ponzo will lead the Lang Center team as we chart our course in a quickly changing entrepreneurial ecosystem,” said Dean Glenn Hubbard. “His strengths in developing and implementing strategy, coaching and developing entrepreneurial teams, and knowledge of and relationships with the New York City early stage investment community make him ideally suited for this role.”Most recently, Ponzo served as director of EMBA and MS Career Management in the School’s Career Management Center. In that position, he worked as a career and executive coach and delivered learning programs to the School’s EMBA students. During the transition, Ponzo will continue to provide direct support to EMBA and MS students and will continue to work closely with the Career Management Center in his new role.Ponzo joined the School from his position as general manager of General Assembly, a provider of educational programming and space that facilitates collaboration and learning across a community inspired by the entrepreneurial experience. Prior to General Assembly, he helped launch RadMatter, a start-up aimed at redefining on-campus recruiting. Ponzo worked as the executive vice president of partnerships at Kargo, a mobile advertising company, and served as the vice president of client services for SelectMinds, an enterprise SaaS company acquired by Oracle for its social recruiting and alumni networking products. He spent more than nine years at Fidelity Investments and Citigroup in roles ranging from corporate finance to corporate training.
