Columbia Business School has launched the Notes to the Next Class website, a space for current students and the 41,000-plus alumni around the world to pass knowledge on to future classes, share photos, videos, and stories with the community, and altogether celebrate a shared history.
Established in 1916, Columbia Business School initially had 11 faculty members and an inaugural class of 61 students. In the ensuing decades, it evolved. In 1945, the School began awarding MBA degrees. In 1964, it settled into Uris Hall. And in 1999, it started hosting classes in Warren Hall, as well. With the new website, generations of students can compare and contrast their experiences on the Morningside Campus. The site is organized by major business school milestones, including everything from being accepted and attending orientation to graduating and starting a career. Community members are free to post notes and related media, and also to read what their colleagues from other eras have shared on the same topic.
