As part of the annual initiative Columbia Forever Week, a pair of alumni spoke at CBS Matters on Thursday, April 11. A recurring forum, CBS Matters typically features current students taking the stage in front of their classmates to talk about what’s most important to them and why. In this case, alumni stood up for the first time to answer those questions themselves. The featured graduates were Richard Paul Richman '73, whose visionary gift established the Richman Center and who serves as a member of the Real Estate Forum and the Board of Overseers, and Coleman Skeeter '12, cofounder of Urbavour and a participant in the Columbia Business Lab.

Columbia Forever Week is a weeklong series of events that aims to connect second-year MBA students with alumni to facilitate and celebrate students’ transition to the alumni community. In honor of this year's edition, alumni also sent back their advice for current students. The Alumni Committee of the Graduate Business Assocation developed the annual celebration, holding the first Columbia Forever Week in 2008. This year’s took place from April 8–11. Throughout the week, student clubs hosted events with young alumni, providing students the opportunity to learn about and discuss life after graduation. Comedy Night at Amsterdam Billiards and Alumni Clubs Night, an informal evening for students and alumni hosted by 17 student clubs, were among the highlights. The week also featured the annual class gift campaign, as students began to give back to their soon-to-be alma mater.
